YCP Friends
The Friends of Yeovil Country Park is a dedicated volunteer group committed to the preservation and enhancement of Yeovil Country Park. Since our formation in 2012, we have worked alongside the Countryside Team to fund and deliver a wide range of conservation projects and community events.
Our Mission
We believe in the power of community to protect and improve our local green spaces. Our mission is to:
- Support vital conservation work that preserves the Park's natural habitats and beauty.
- Fund projects that enhance the Park's facilities for the benefit of all visitors.
- Organise community events that encourage more people to engage with and enjoy the Park.
Our Charitable Status
In 2019, Friends of Yeovil Country Park became a registered charity (a Charitable Incorporated Organisation), which has given us access to more funding opportunities and provides a transparent framework for our operations.
