Accessibility at Yeovil Country Park

Yeovil Country Park is a beautiful natural greenspace which includes a variety of landscapes like steep grassland escarpments and woodland trails. As a result accessibility can vary across different areas of the park. The old railway line path, locally known as the "Yellow Brick Road", runs from Penn Mill Station to Lysander Road and is the easiest, most accessible route through the park.

If you plan to explore areas beyond this path, we recommend referring to our Access Guide to find routes that suit your needs. If you need help planning your visit, feel free to get in touch — we're happy to assist. Email us at: [email protected]

Disabled parking spaces are available outside Ninesprings Café. Please note that parking charges apply.

Easy Access Trails

Within the Ninesprings area of the park, you’ll find two clearly marked accessible trails:

  • Flat River Walk – 1.5 miles (easy and level)
  • Challenging Route – 0.4 miles (shorter but with some incline)

📄 Download the trail leaflet here, or pick one up at Ninesprings Café.

A tactile map for the visually impaired is located outside Ninesprings Café to help visitors navigate the area.
