Dogs

Dogs at Yeovil Country Park

Dogs are very welcome at Yeovil Country Park, and we love seeing responsible dog owners enjoying the space with their pets.

Please be aware that the shared path running from Ninesprings to Wyndham Hill can get quite busy, especially with cyclists, children, and other dogs. To ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we ask that dogs are kept on a lead in this area and that all users treat one another with respect.

We kindly ask all dog owners to keep their pets under control and to clean up after them. Dog waste bins are provided throughout the park to help keep the environment clean and safe for everyone.

No Dog Zone

To protect the local wildlife, including birds and water voles, there is a designated ‘No Dog Zone’ around the main lake and parts of Dodham Brook. This area is clearly marked with signage and enclosed by fencing.

Please note: This zone is protected under a Public Space Protection Order, which is legally enforceable.

Thank you for helping us care for Yeovil Country Park and the animals that call it home.

Cycling

Cycling is only permitted on the shared-use path that follows the route of the old railway line through Ninesprings to Wyndham Hill.
